Kideology LTD has developed a diverse program of services and interventions to assist families through screening, consultation, education, one-on-one services and linkage to family/community resources. We also assist the community by acting as a teaching site for special education teachers and a variety of therapists. Participation in pilot studies, beta projects, as well as data research and analysis related to child/family matters round us out. We were established in 2011 with a background in School District Special Education, Early Intervention, Outpatient Therapy, and Crisis Management. Our focus is on successful outcomes for your child and your family. We believe it is never too early to start helping a child.

How can Physical Therapy help?
As a child grows, physical movement is the foundation for ALL other skills. The importance of this brain-body connection should not be underestimated. Physical abilities enhance every other aspect of growth and development. Want improved cognition? Add a tailored physical program to your world! Want improved communication? Add a tailored physical program to your world! Want improved emotional regulation? How about socialization? How about additional ways to help your child with anxiety or depression? A physical program is a must!
Physical Therapists (PTs) can provide evaluation and assessment specific to Gross Motor skills (Rolling, crawling, standing, walking, etc.), as well as other types of assessment such as Sensory Processing. A PT functions in the same way an SLP or OT does. They evaluate and then offer a tailored treatment plan for not only movement, but also education, guidance, and support related to their specific area of expertise. Like OT, a PT may also become involved in identifying specialized equipment that may be helpful, in addition to Prosthetic and Orthotic devices you may obtain through an outside referral.

There are so many ways to connect with other families! Families benefit from knowing they are not alone. Children benefit from being around other children. It helps reduce family stress and strengthens us all as a result. Besides formal playgroups and organizations, there are a variety of informal things you can do:

- Go to the children's section at your local library. All of our libraries have FREE supportive programming occurring throughout the year.
- Check out your local Recreation Center through Parks and Recreation. These classes are fun, convenient, and affordable!
- Join an online parent community or Meet Up group.
